Birds and Cats

I was invited  by the Creative Practice Circle at Charles Sturt University (Albury & Wagga Wagga Campuses) to submit works to its exhibition 'Listening in the Anthropocene'
I drew on her memories of birds and bird song on the rivers and farms where I was raised and the area I now lives.   In this series I reflect on animal ownership (in particular cats), the responsibilities of the owners and the predation on wildlife by both domestic and feral cats.
