A hanging installation conjuring a sense of times passed.
Flower shapes created with repurposed old and vintage embroidered textiles are hung to create a flower garden that moves in the breeze. They are play on a hexagon pattern which has been used since time immemorial in tile and fabric tessellating designs.
A table, with a vintage embroidered table cloth and set for an afternoon tea, sits in Grandmother’s Garden, evoking memories of the gentle art of conversation and a connection to slower times.
