Fragments into Form

There is something meditative about hand stitching The repeated action of selecting bits of fabric and making simple stitches is absorbing. It stills my busy mind and lets my brain rest. There is no need for a purpose or outcome when i stitch. Often the stitching is the purpose. However, sometimes I may pursue and outcome, as in the case of a series on sandstone and sandstone walls.
